Well, I finished with Discovering Fire. Quite frankly, I was very disappointed with it. I’ve begun “The Final Days of Jesus: the archeological evidence,” and I’m finding it much more interesting. It seems to be mostly about the actual city of Jerusalem so far, but I’m sure it will get into more detail as it goes on.
I will be spending a good part of this week driving back and forth to Evansville to pick Elaina up from her horseback riding camp. It may interfere somewhat with my exercise goals. I may have to shift my routines from the afternoons to mornings. It will make my days much more compressed. I currently spend my mornings working on the computer, reading, and doing minor housework chores. I will find a way though. The exercise is important, especially as we prepare for our road trip.
Today, on the way to Evansville, I’ll be stopping at Walmart (shudder) to pick up essentials for that trip, like insect repellent and sunscreen. That will provide me an opportunity to get steps in although I’ve been told that walking around a store isn’t the same as walking for exercise.
We are still playing with our itinerary. I’ve updated the list three times now. I think any further changes will have to occur as we travel. Jim says he doesn’t want to change any more reservations so it’s pretty much set, although we may adjust actual points of interest along the way. Check out our Roadtrips blog to follow along.
